I believe we can reduce some of the tariffs we have on imported bikes and cars.. in my opinion, despite no tariff, they would do poorly or the impact won't be much for our manufacturers.. Indian consumption market is a tough cookie to crack and just because tariffs are removed doesn't mean they will sell like hot cakes. It would do good for optics without much impact..

And I also believe some agriculture tariffs can be removed - predominantly on poultry products.. American companies want to export chicken legs and it's being blocked or stone walled in India by few powerful lobbies for their margins.. I think we can work on those .. Electronics tariffs also don't make sense and we can substitute tariffs with subsidies for products assembled in India..

India could use this a opportunity and come out of heavy lobbying of few select industrial champions ..
