I had ACL and MCL tear in 2015. I was 19 as well that time. I had swelling. I had to go physiotherapy before surgery. After 2 weeks, my surgery went through well. Post surgery is bed rest plus physio. Basically you will need to learn to walk again. 3 months after surgery I was walking comfortably with all physio taken.

Fast forward to 2024 I can walk, run, do anything.

OP, I wish you a speedy recovery and please take those physio sessions seriously.
