Facing this problem myself brother. Being a qualified CA and working in so called Group A service with Pb Govt. But due to their stupid policy, working without any allowances for first 3 years. And seeing myself earning just 20-25% of what my fellow CAs are making in private sector. It is definitely disheartening.

Many have suggested me to look for opportunities in private sector where growth chances are high and faster instead of a fixed 3% increase here, irrespective of hardwork one puts in. But then there is no job security in private sector. I have earlier worked in private too with better pay (not the best though) and my memory is now positively biased towards it.

In the end it's your call. Govt job may give you a balanced life but the money will be mediocre. And private may be alluring as an overall career but the rat race is serious there, causing more office politics.

I am challenging the toilet to do this physical activity.
