My channel was demonetized over a 5 second Luigi meme. (250,000 subs.) all decisions final no option to reapply…
Irony being this kind of heavy-handed clamping on channels voicing a smidgen of even ironic sympathy for Luigi serves only to put a target on Neal's back. Its counter productive on literally every level. -

Startup Founders, What Advice Would You Give to Someone Starting Their Journey? (im in B2B saas)
Im not directly a founder, but have a startup background and work in VC - so maybe i can help you:
1. Try to sell your product even if it is not completely ready. By this you can validate it and learn from your customers. (A high churn in the beginning is not that of a problem.)
2. Do not hire to fast. In my daily life this is one of the biggest problems in SAAS startups. 2x employees does not mean 2x output. Often this can kill your funding rounds and rocket your overall burn.
3. Validating your product is essential. If you can't get paying customers in the beginning, start with pilot projects to see if your product is even needed.
4. You have to plan with a lot of time when raising money. This isnt a 2 week, 20 hour, thing. Normally this takes hundreds of calls and 2-6 months. -> Begin early to raise your money.
I hope this could help a little bit. -

I tried again and failed
Did you learn anything useful? If so apply those lessons to your future endeavors. If not, you should critically analyse what went wrong until you see where you failed and learn from it.

people at signal
While we are hovering over this subject, I want to tell you how an "old man" cheated me at the signal. This happened at the Whitefield Hopefarm signal. I was sitting behind a Rapido driver. This old man, who was walking shakily and selling tissue and earbud combo packs, approached us. The person in front of me gave him some change but did not take the product. I felt bad because at least the man was working and earning, not begging.
I didn't have any small change like 10 rupees, I only had a 50-rupee note in hand. The man did a namaskaram and pleaded with me. I thought he would give back 40 rupees as change. However, he took the 50 rupees and left after giving me the product. I was baffled. I had a neck sprain that day and couldn't even turn my head. When he got very close to me, I noticed he wasn't even an old man. His skin was tight and glowing like a young man's. In fact, it was better than mine. He only had white hair. Moreover, the tissue was substandard, it wasn't even 1-ply. It was some low-quality tissue. I threw the whole pack away in anger.
To my shock and surprise, yesterday evening, while waiting to cross the same signal, I saw him walking normally. The moment the signal turned red, he started that "shivering" walk. I was perplexed and shocked to the core. I cannot believe these people. It was my stupidity, I agree. They invoke that "guilty" feeling in people, making us feel bad because we work in the IT field and earn well while they are poor and violate our trust. This goes for every overcharging auto and every hotel that overcharges for substandard service. Be aware of this beggar at the Hopefarm signal. I learned a big lesson: not to feel guilty for someone's misfortune (not the first lesson though). They forget that we also come from humble backgrounds, studied hard, and work tirelessly.
