Not based on caste, but based on region I can share my opinion. I am an Eastern UP person married to my college mate from Western UP.  Believe me, it's a marriage of 2 different worlds altogether. 
Right from food to customs, clothing to mindset, language to respect (to women), everything is entirely different. 
And the problem is Western UP folks have a bias towards Purvanchal. Even in my sasural, I have heard many times references of Bihar when they referred my hometown. I used to correct them earlier ki Banaras is in UP, they are like Lucknow Kanpur ke aage sab Bihar hai. 
They will disrespect anything related to your region, make fun of your customs, language and food. There is a sheer disregard of others who are not part of their region or caste. 
This is my personal experience. Others can have a better one.
