So you will look into the backend intentions of DMK and it's allies, but conveniently ignore the behind the screen tactics of BJP and allies who are trying to push it??
Yes just asking our students to learn Hindi in schools will not have any immediate impact. But what about long term, say in 50 or 100 or 200 years?? Eventually there will every push to eliminate or replace Tamil and it will be more easy for them as we would have forced everyone to know Hindi by then. You and me will not be there to witness it, but anything the last 75 years has taught us, it will be fool of us to think otherwise. -

Sick of normies using anxiety/loneliness as an aesthetic
i swear some people just do it so they can feel better about themselves. they’ll identify with a group they know they’re not part of, like lonely people, just so they can go ‘i’m not *that* kind of lonely, i’m too cool for that’. maybe they feel average around normies so they position themselves with a group they see as beneath them so they can feel cool. i’m not sure if it’s a conscious or a subconscious thing for them. and obviously i’m not saying this is the case for all of them, but i think it might be what motivates some people. probably comes from the same place as the desire to be popular at school, once they age out of that but the feeling of inadequacy is still there so they look for another way to deal with it.
and i wish they wouldn’t do it. because like the popular kids at school, they’re the ones that end up getting the attention for it so it changes the definition of lonely or whatever other group they’re trying to be part of and it ends up leaving us feeling like we don’t belong anywhere. -
How is AI changing SEO? Will search engines make blogs and articles obsolete?
People will search less for information and more for services. SEO will change for the better, as always. No one in their right mind would say the results for finding information were good lately. -

Hyderabad Scenes At The Time of Independence (1947)
Nice find, OP! That channel has some nice clips about WWII too. On a somewhat unrelated side note, Britannica, another British publication had an article about our city which I read a couple years back and they claimed there were no religious infightings due to the greatness of the Nizam which I thought was a bit funny. I reported it to them with a correction and I checked it again now and it looks like they finally corrected it with some historical context. -

Is getting VC investment a "privilege" or "meritocracy?" (I will not promote)
It cannot be a meritocracy unless there's a consistent definition of how merit is measured. Half the time it's just vibes or you pitch in a way that triggers their FOMO. But at the end of the day, this is just gamblng for very rich people.
Merit is based on accomplishments - you can't be measured, merit-wise, against other startups pitching if none of you have accomplished anything yet. VCs roll the dice and take a chance on a couple of founders and whether their pitch was saying the things they want to hear. -
Does it get better?

Understanding life, understanding yourself is as important as your career or money. For me it's more important. But career and money I hope gives a good scale in general.
> I want to study but can't.
Yet another normie. Sab kar lete toh toh kya hi baat thi.
I can't wrap my mind around the fact that during jee people studied and could not understand and observe basic and redundant problems and try various solutions to understand what's a good one. For example:
- Which book to follow, dc pandey or cengage. Repeat: which language to code in. Repeat: which course to follow. How the fuck can you let these things repeat. Can't you understand a fundamental thing.. whatever the most popular and generally accepted ones are.. choose any one of them and move on.. don't waste days just choosing the material.
- Padhai nahi horahi. I am sad to see this that you could not have a basic theory with you about yourself on how you study. If you say you are having mental problems. Then you not being able to study is NOT a problem, mental instability is, focus on that rather than adding a new to thing to stress about.
The issue is, people are not able to factorise the problems into fundamental problems and solve them. And surprisingly focusing on 1 fundamental problem solves many bigger problems. 1 is just a number but the number is very small. One of them is having no plans for the free part of your day. Having no cause to improve at. Having no skill to gain. Having no discipline.
IT GETS BETTER IF YOU MAKE YOURSELF BETTER.
Also, some things are out of your hands, how people behave is one of them to some extent. What the fuck can you do about it. What's The point of worrying or crying about it? Worry about things YOU can change.
All of this has a context, itna sab nahi likhne wala. Take it in the most positive way you can think of. -

In my desire to get closer to Hinduism i have encountered several difficulties that i am now going to expose to you
I know a few temples in USA where they are teaching temples and they openly welcome foreigners who are interested to learn Hinduism and teach them Hinduism and how to worship. These teachers themselves are well versed with the scriptures and are qualified to teach.
However most temples in the world including India aren't really established for teaching purposes. People go there to pray and to be honest they MIGHT NOT have the level of information which you maybe looking for. Also temples can be very communal in nature and you might find different methods of worship in different temples.
Another thing I saw that you are looking for a Guru. I strongly advise you not to do so as you are still new to Hinduism and also 99% of Gurus nowadays are frauds. Don't get tempted by those online gurus with 1000s and millions of students (sishya-s).
So in short, foreigners looking to learn about Hinduism should start with Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana and learn the basics of Hinduism. They should also try to develop a relationship with the devata (God) which they have some affinity to (istha devata) who will guide themselves further. -
