So, the story is, I’m born and brought up in Panchkula and Chandigarh. (St. Anne’s Convent, 32) and eventually did my graduation from SD College (32 again), where I met one of the closest people in my life now and my business partner. We graduated back in 2016, I think. haha. Fast forward to 2024, we managed to launch a new brand together, after a lot of contemplation.



Our brand is called Mandi. (There’s another story for that, maybe later). Our first offering is a non-alcoholic coffee liqueur. We just launched last month! Our USP is that we have tried to recreate a coffee liqueur, but with a recipe that eliminates alcohol, but still keeps the essence of it making it completely non-alcoholic. You can make anything out of it, mocktails, cocktails, desserts, sweets etc. You can use it as a base, as a mixer, as well as a topping.



We launched on the 20th of November, 2024, and we had our first exhibition soon after at Raas Baag (Khuda Ali Sher). It was a great experience. We almost sold out all our stock, I think we had 6 bottles left by the end of the last day. It was much better than we expected.



With this post, I really hope we are able to reach out to more people and spread just a little bit of awareness to what we have. Also, a digital brochure/booklet which contains our brand story and some recipes to get you started.



Our bottle is priced at Rs. 350/- for a 200ml quantity. Since we are primarily Tri-City based, we have free shipping for all the people from Chandigarh, Panchkula as well as Mohali to show our appreciation for the local community.

Targeting vendors first is essentiell. Normally this is also the easier part. It is simply about the outreach and giving them the chance to offer their products on another channel for free.
Getting the actual buying customers is way more different and normally not possible, if you have no vendors. What customer would use a marketplace without a vendor?

I would do it step by step:
1. Building the market infrastructure
2. Doing the research what vendors you would like to have
3. Do the B2B outreach (Tools: [Make.com](http://Make.com), [Hunter.io](http://Hunter.io), Rocketreach...)
4. Start getting the end customers (Creative marketing, Reddit, social media, question portals, flyers)

Yeah, I do plan to get somewhere, I haven't been sitting still, especially not in recent years.

Ever since I moved to my new place, I picked up a lot of hobbies and been getting a lot more creative. So, I might see if I can make a buck hustling in that field. I'm in the final stretch to get my financial situation sorted out, so I can actually re-assess what I wanna do, make plans, stuff like that.
