    In your situation I would use my name as a brand, granted you're not starting a business for the sole purpose of having an exit strategy. Also I don't know how it would limit you from expanding. If anything a keyword domain would limit you from expanding. It's a common practice when people are selling themselves/their skills as the product or service they typically use their name (but others don't). People in politics largely use their name because they are the brand.


    I think the real question is whether or not YOU (your face, your name, your title) ARE THE BRAND, or you want to start a brand thats a separate entity from yourself.


    Either way if you can get your name in the .com I'd get it. Just my 2 cents.
