The Punjab region had a larger Kashmiri population during 1947 than the Kashmir valley from atleast 5 centuries of migrations.

My own family moved to Lahore during the Dogra Hindu rule, which didn't leave the Muslims abused but also economically deprived.

My ancestors did what most Kashmiris did back in the day i.e had tandoors.

Growing up, all my elders friends , neighbours, doctors, accountants, business associates were all Kashmiris. In fact my father's best friend's grandfather used to travel between Lahore and Srinagar to see his family.

Maybe 87 by March 2025. Your best bet against depreciating rupee is gold and stocks which are earning in dollars I.e., major exporters like IT, pharma. And also direct investments in the US stock market should do as well. If you’ve covered these, you’ll do relatively better in next few years considering all other things remain the same.
