I backup over my home network to a NAS - generally no problems but a few years ago I noticed that Time Machine was taking ages to do small, incremental backup - a 10 KB backup was taking 30 minutes.

Looking at Activity Monitor, it seemed to be something to do with indexing and the size of my backup which is now well over 4 TB.

So I changed to CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) which works very well over the network and with large backups.

Waking up to my Mom's new year wish in whatsapp..She even sent a cute sticker with it(i find it adorable when parents send emojis or stickers🥹)..Endhiricha udane amma said pongal and medhu vadai ready vaa sapdalam..Paati new year wish pana call pananga nu she said..I was actually sad about something yesterday night and slept in a bad mood..waking up to these cute moments made me feel grateful for the people i have in my life ..Every day and even small moment must be cherished🥹Maybe a silly or cringe thing but it hit me hard and made me happy today😍

unreal. No-one should be learning those useless things, some teachers in Gir think having more vocabulary = better English, they can't even communicate for longer than 2 minutes without stuttering so they keep teaching students useless words and the same grammar (figures of speech, tenses, etc) every year

Saw demo of Eureka Forbes one yesterday. Looks decent but it’s quite expensive. Have to pay extra for the auto bin facility.

Mi one seems budget friendly but I’m not sure about the built quality. My Mi Tv got damaged in less than two years.
