For all women facing this issue :

1) Always have 2 numbers. 1 for work and that’s to be shared at work. Never share your personal number and I mean never.

2) Never attend to “chats” from male colleagues / co workers / peers / bosses that are outside of the work environment. “cut to cut”.

3) Be professional with compliments - thank them for complimenting you but in glancing. Ignore one or two of the compliments. Once in while park a smart response to the compliments that sort of shames the men.

4) any persistent idiots need to be dealt with sternly and right away.

In your case OP, just tell the idiot that you prefer valorous men and not bacchods, hence you married an army man. Be firm, ignore his messages and just be situationally aware all the time.

read relevant stuff to your graduation and your preferred work field. Learn more about your field of interest rather than reading any “productivity book”. These usually bombard you with the authors completely personalised views and are seldom useful for you. So read selectively is what my take is! All the best to you:) (these books help you know a little of everything - ie. Jack of all trades. If that’s what you like , sure , go ahead)


also do other stuff than reading. Build more skills too.
