Let's face the truth. Animal succeeded because of its excellent marketing. The teaser, trailer and music, all were top notch quality. It created a genuine intrigue about what the movie is about. Audience wanted a fresh story on screen, something different from the shit movies bollywood seems to be making these days.

I don't think people came out of the theatre saying it is mind-blowing movie. It was an average movie with good acting performance and excellent music integration.

Don't blame animals when you know humans are around. Never ever seen a dog bite a bike. They just pee on the wheel lol. Also I have seen only cats cratch the seats.

With the 9000 budget it seems tough to get a room in Parel or any other area's close by. Some one here suggested Andheri (East), but I would suggest you to try Goregaon aswell. Especially east.
