There has been a longstanding issue of non Panjabis brigading discussions on this sub and suppressing natural discussions. Besides the long-standing issue of many people spreading hate, there has been somewhat of an issue of debates being taken over and a certain political stance being promoted by users who otherwise have little to no activity on this sub. It is an issue for sure, but there are also non Panjabis who come here and have productive nuanced debates. I don't think this is something that can be addressed personally, especially if trying to foster a community where we try and have these types of discussions in the first place. The best course of action may be to instead work towards promoting further participation from our regular user base and ignoring the users who come here just insert politics into discussions and promote a certain party/ideology. But I would be interested in seeing other opinions and reevaluating my position.
