Came home a few months back and was driving around Raipur chowk towards sports college/stadium and I had never imagined that there will be long traffic jams in that chowk, I was taken aback a little, that used to be absolute smooth traffic area.

A lot of seniors retired after the WC win, Ind's batting and bowling strength were both depleted, new guys were bought into the team and Ind faced heavy defeats everywhere. His first 4 yrs of Test captaincy were great, he beat NZ and SL away, had drawn a Test series in SA, he had beaten every team at home and eventually dethroned Aus from the top of the test rankings for the first time in the 21st century and won the ICC Test mace for two consecutive yrs, 2010-11. It was Dhoni who inducted Ashwin, Jadeja, Umesh, Shami and Ishant into the Test team and formed the backbone of the Indian Test bowling attack for the coming decade.
