I wore a helmet during my early years and I have some good things to say about it and some that weren't faourable. Good things : Basically protects the head from injury. Unfavourable things : Visibility is hampered. This is something that has caused a lot of trouble for me and I have come across several individuals claiming the same.

Helmet are useful, no doubt about it, but it only serves it's purpose when you 'know' for sure that traffic is disciplined. I have been in trouble more times wearing a helmet than without it. There were times when suddenly out of nowhere cars, two-wheelers, people, animals and hand-carts would appear in places I least expected, just because I coudn't actually 'see' them, or anticipate for that matter.

Rear view mirrors are useless because lane changing and going in any direction is a 'norm'. Even if I try to look sideways, there is no visibility in comparison to not wearing a helmet.

I have been much safer without the helmet, driving two wheelers since the last 36 years in and around the city and also throughout India. I still do use a helmet occassionally when travelling long distances on highways though.

It's difficult to find a good gym near Deralakatte/Thokottu side, let alone find a Ladies friendly gym😅.
All the good gyms with good facilities (also female friendly) are in the city side only.
