yeah, when i fell into neetdom, i was treated with a lot of dis from my sibling, and also my cousins and some of my extended relatives whenever i got around to see them in my young adult years. I didn't want to believe it, probably trying to see myself with victim excuses, but they could have been right to some degree that I became more of a bad selfish person. Being neet when capable in other things if not just social ineptness, really skirts with challenging personal morality imo, especially if you came from an extended family culture of achievers and family members who traditionally learned to stick by values and principles. for example i know i became much more of a coward, and let fear ruin me into longer neetdom. as well as neetish addictions, becoming more lazy, and bad neetish habits.

And as a result I personally became the worst loser of my extended family generation , and even of all the peers I knew of from hs. I don't know of anyone from my former life as a teen who became worse than me and it was really humiliating and depressive to me feeling this alone (in my real life; i know places like this sub congregates virtually, a lot of us losers in society from all parts of the country and the world), and then I try to tell myself don't be a 'bad person' either and wish failure on people you knew either.

There are people who honk when you stop at an yellow light or even slow down. For most people in India, the yellow light is the signal to accelerate to the speed of light before it can turn red 😂!

Why they honk when you slow down or stop to avoid an obvious crashing into the car ahead is usually because they think they could somehow have done "better". Honking is the equivalent of simply abusing you for "poor" and not adequately superhuman driving skills.

I've sat next to/behind some chronic honkers (including a driver I had). Asked them why they honked when clearly it serves no purpose. Some of them pointed out what the other driver should have done instead of slowing down I'd stopping therefore "causing the jam", due to poor driving skills. Some others said it was so that they would feel the pressure to "try better".

The driver needless to say way fired as soon as a replacement could be found. The friends/family I simply classified in my head as brainless morons. And there are plenty of those. In India, your choices are to give up driving or turn to zen Buddhism to learn chanting enough to keep your calm in these situations.
