This is not true. As per this notification (https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/2024-04/noti-49-24.pdf) VFA pay scale is Rs 23,700 – Rs 52,600/-

Her approx basic gross salary is 23700+DA+HRA. That is 23700+(23700\*43%)+(23700\*10%)= 36261. If you consider a deductions of some 4000 bucks, she is having 32000 atleast. This is basic pay+ basic allowances, there may be other allowances as well. She is surely downplaying it.
