Scientists and engineers are not that respected in our country. I mean you can get a "wow that' great" kinda response but people bend themselves, i mean literally bend themselves in front of the rich/politician/beaurocrats only. There is a reason every year a good chunk of people get selected in UPSC from IIT Bombay, and another good chunk go to the countries where talent in respected.

In 2014, when Telangana was formed, its annual revenue was around ₹60,000 crore. As of the 2024-25 budget, the state’s revenue receipts have grown significantly to ₹2,21,242 crore with highest per capita in the country(total andhra revenue were 1.2 lakh crore then), showing a massive increase over the decade. This kind of revenue growth—over 3.5 times—would not have been possible without capital expenditure on the infrastructure like irrigation, roads and drinking water.

Dumb wit FM doesn’t understand that, if Telangana has to freeze capital expenditure and it will remain surplus even today but whats the point if we would be stagnant. Actually it is still surplus by 297 crores vs 5k crores when the state was formed.

Japan and US has more debt than their GDP because money makes more money, as long as the state is investing in infrastructure and meaningful welfare schemes we should be able to grow leaps and bounds, last decade of our existence is a classic example

I am also in the same boat as you. I am an introvert, throughout my childhood I had no friends and my conversations with other people mostly regarding educational purposes. I got a best friend when I changed my school in 11th standard, but he also passed away in 2021. Since then I have no close friends. My college life was miserable, I was an introvert but tried to become an extrovert and I failed miserably. I am kind of obese and unemployed, though I am doing an unpaid internship until I start my master's in the month of September. I am invisible for most of the people, most of my college batch mates are financially settled at least the ones that I know. Everyone who contacts me only contacts me just to check what I'm doing in my life probably because they want to feel good about themselves.

I have reached a point in my life where I have started to isolate more from the outside world. I am the last cousin in my family, most of my cousins are financially settled and got married. Two of my cousins who are 2 to 3 years elder to me are getting married this year. The pressure is on me. I have decided that I won't be getting married because given the dynamics of relationships I will suffer the most because I'm not a dominating type of person, I am very soft when it comes to dealing with people, and I fear if I get married I might end up marrying a dominating girl, so I have decided to avoid relationships and marriage completely.


In my professional life, I will be completing my master's next year by that time I'll be 26, so basically life will begin late for me. Most of my cousins were financially settled by that age, some of them were even earning 30-40 lpa. So it is eating me away, I'm 25 and still haven't earned a penny except for the 15 that I got from an internship of 4 months.


The pressure is real. My hairline has started to recede, I'm obese (around 125kgs, face wise I look good and many people have told me I would look handsome if I reduce my weight). My mental health is completely shattered. I find isolation to be peaceful. In the last 12 months I have only spoken to 4-5 strangers ( in terms of having a proper conversation). I frequently have an emotional breakdown). I'm trying to put myself together.

So yeah I'm also having that feeling of something eating my inner peace.


I hope that things will improve for you.

Most likely catching cats to sell them as pets to unwitting buyers. Using clickbaity titles claiming they are "eating them" will not help your cause. Best bet might be to get in touch with some animal welfare/animal activist organizations who might be able to pressure authorities to take action.
