She was actually my favourite in the beginning but I developed heavy dislike towards her in between when she had all those fights with Chum and with what she did to DV. But I feel like she redeemed herself a little towards the end and I was actually sad to see her go

I saw David Hogg present as a panelist at a conference alongside a woman who was also in a leadership position within their advocacy organization. My recollection was that the woman he presented with was well-spoken, thoughtful, and articulated a lot of concrete points. My memory of David was that he mainly jumped in to offer angry sound bites and drum up applause. I remember thinking at the time that he lacked the substance of his co-presenter.

I didn't even remember his name until seeing this post, and when I Googled his name and recognized his picture, I was like, "yep, that makes sense." I'm not super optimistic, but I will fully acknowledge that I'm ignorant of his career in advocacy and politics, so maybe he'll be awesome and that one presentation I saw him do was a fluke.

My primary issue is I have to struggle through hell to achieve things in my personal life. I am just mentally and emotionally exhausted. No amount of gratitude, prayers, etc help me for a long time. I just want a simpler life. Also, I have a tendency of social comparison that I cannot overcome. Has led me to build a lot of resentment towards some friends, who get everything they want, when they want.
