It is normal in European countries for this situation to occur. People tend to multiple sexual partners and a lot of people have sexual partners in their friends circle. 15 years is long time, so I wouldn’t really worry about it.
Also it will come across as being insecure if you say anything that objects to a sexual partner from over a decade ago.
Personally I wouldn’t stay friends with my exes, but to each their own.
