From what I can draw from this post you’re two non-drinkers who are wanting to see if social drinking (as the society likes to call it) is actually worth a try, in my opinion, it is. Because I come from the same PoV

2 combinations that are good for someone starting off

- Red Label + Catch Clear Soda (Black currant or Peach) (20:80ml) *Don’t go on to accurately measure it, just make sure the ratio of soda:whiskey is greater than 3

- Bacardi White Rum (Limon is the best) + Tender Coconut, yeah the actual real coconut. Sip on some coconut water to make room for the rum, again try with around 20ml and sip on the mix

Both of the above combinations would be well within ₹3000 and you’ll probably be left with enough for all the snacks etc


Tips:

- Before you start be sure to have a light snack, could be as simple as a sandwich, don’t overeat
- Pace yourself while drinking, ideally a 15-20mins gap between pegs(i.e servings)
- While drinking have finger snacks ready, as the name suggests, things like peanuts, paneer, chicken tikka, chips etc, don’t overdo them either
- Please keep it fun and light, because if you’re new and you get buzzy, people tend to overthink, just play fun games Ex- walking the straight line, and see who fumbles first, maybe a tongue twister (well you might get to that anyway iykyk) but yeah basically keep it fun and chill
- End the night/or the day, for that matter, with a meal and that’s it

Not an expert but have setup a few networks. If other devices connect normally try checking Network settings to make sure “Ask to Join” is enabled for that WiFi. Next try disabling any VPN on the Mac. If no change consider changing DNS numbers to Google’s. If this low-hanging fruit fails download one of the network analysis apps for Mac to see if you might be bumping into other networks on the same channel. You might also visit your router controls to see if anything is amiss. If nothing works let us know the name of your ISP so we can advise you how to navigate their unique setup.
