The problem with AI is that either you are very advanced and creative in prompt writing or the output you'll get will be just average with no real added value for the users. Don't see AI as way to make quick and cheap copywriting but more as a tool to get infos and eventually refine you work.

I give you an example: recently I had issues with copywriters that prepared text for a website in the travel industries. The copywriter wrote a text about trips to Paris and he came up with the obvious tour Eiffel, Louvre, Montmartre and such. Every single human being visiting Paris will eventually end up there so what's the point in having a copy inviting you to visit them? none.

A copy that would make a difference is the one that gives you insights and is based on experience. Where do people hang out? what are cool areas for someone in age 25-35 that doesn't want to end up in tourist traps? what are the coolest clubs in 2025?

Empathy is something that a machine can't replicate, experience can hardly be faked. So if you want to be serious about copywriting, by all means do it but avoid the fast and cheap approach, because it will be felt exactly that way. Add your personal touch and try to focus on a niche where you thing that you have more experience than others. It will count.
