Hi, tough call here. Many take signed forms and don’t make the transfer and it becomes a nightmare to chase them down and make them do a transfer. I have a friend in my bonneville group who sold his T 100 with signed forms but the buyer has not yet made the transfer and rc is still is in his name.

On the other hand, no one will do an rc transfer without taking full payment! Think about it, if the rc is transferred, then for all practical reasons, the buyer has become the owner and claim the bike as his without paying anything! :)

If i know the person well and trust that person to do an rc transfer, i would allow them to take the vehicle

If not, i would insist that the vehicle will be delivered only after the transfer of rc


The seller is well within his rights to ask for this . As a buyer, you also have the option to buy from someone who will trust you to do the rc tranfer

It would be great if the seller states this condition upfront so that you don’t end up wasting your time only to get to this deadlock . Again, there is no rule book, no right or wrong , just a plus if the seller states this upfront as a non negotiable and i have seen many do it these days

This is quite common for Gurgaon companies to have the toxic traits! Have never experienced such toxic people and culture while I worked in Bangalore. As I decide to leave the company because of its toxic culture, I utilised all my leave before leaving the job as I was uncertain if they would in-cash my leave or not! So attached is the response given by my manager/founder after my resignation. They think of employee as we are some labour working for per hour wages!

Ps- Also I waited for 2 days to receive a confirmation if they are accepting my resignation or they planning to torture me for some more days, so I sent a follow up regarding the confirmation. And this was his language to respond over the mail.
