Reccomendations for 7 day trip to Rajasthan
7 days isn't a lot of time to see Rajasthan
It's hard to recommend anything because although you've got 7 days, no one knows where you want to start or finish
Assuming you arrive in Delhi. If you fly to Jaisalmer - fly to help with your short trip, but then you're kinda trapped in a corner of Rajasthan. After your time in Jaisalmer, you'll need to fly back to Delhi or...
...take a train/car+driver to your next nearest city, Jodhpur. If you arrive there in the afternoon, you'll still need another day to see the attractions there.
Your next choice could be Jaipur or Udaipur. I don't think you have time to see both.
Jaipur & Udaipur have better airports than Jaisalmer with better options.
If you do start your trip in Delhi, do you have extra days to cover it? Possibly a day/overnight trip to Agra?
Enjoy your first trip, but don't cram in too much :) -

Trading with an amount that you’re actually comfortable losing is like trading with a demo account
100% agree - for accurate trading one needs position sizing like a safety line safety net. That need creates anxiety (I'll call it FOMO to cover all the negatives more than anxiety)
> Comparing demo Vs live...there is a great lesson to extract to avoid FOMO
Demo trading has a use - to allow you to learn trading (strategy) & learn painlessly (at no cost).
You must prove in demo the first part of learning (your strategy, your risk management, consistency, discipline & patience, scaling up).
You learn by practicing without distraction ie in safe demo account
You stop learning once you are distracted ie by real money in a trade. Is "Psychologically 101" I call it !
Live trading is a must - but ONLY AFTER FIRST DEMO TRADING never before or too soon after starting.
Ignore anyone who says must migrate quickly to live from demo that's when you learn. Not true.....a good grounding in demo will avoid so many technical issues (non emotional) that you can't address in live trading environment (not easily).
Fact. Don't skip your demo in your eagerness to get profitable...it is counter productive! You don't give a child a loaded financial gun !
Real money on the line (1 or 100 risk is not important) you will feel anxiety if you have " real skin in the game" (the thrill & the profit incentive).
Dealing with emotions is the thrill plus conversely dealing the fear & greed for profit. This is Psychology 102.
The lesson (the secret) to trading is position sizing focus on small & compound trades to avoid risk & find profitability.
> 1 trade Vs N trades
REAL FOMO : is 1 large trade. It requires good entry accuracy to avoid risk being a material loss.
NO FOMO : when you use N small trades. It no longer requires accuracy (very forgiving actually)
- first trade becomes exploration of trend
- if right you add more trades & satisfy need for profits.
- If wrong you kill first trade start again & lose not a lot. (Painless). No FOMO & such a better trading experience.
That little secret (N Trades requires no accurate entry) is key
really creates an easy path to trading & doing it successfully...you literally don't lose any material money in live & avoid creating the resulting responses & experience that is soooo negative & damaging to psychology
No downside (no FOMO) & all the upside (all the PROFIT you want) -

Reverse strategy
Yeah, Ive tried this before and It sorta worked in the short term but only for quick scalp trades. It failed if the positions werent closed pretty quickly. I think what I really need is a way to use algo trading to stack limit orders at % increments above or below the trigger. The worst part of algo trading is all the false positive triggers but I dont know how to avoid this so I still prefer to trade the action myself. Anyway, good luck. -
Maharashtra is WESTERN INDIA
Whenever I get asked if I'm northie or southie, I just say I'm Maharashtrian. No need for west Indian or Central Indian. Our identity is unique and we must keep it that way.
