South Indians are lesser in military . I see few reasons.


1. I heard Hindi is mandatory to join Military.


2. Most of the people who are traditionally into military are now in politics and businesses.


3. Pakistan and China are far away from these areas. So naturally they are less prone to it. Infact pakistan and India issue is border dispute.


If you observe alot of tamil speaking community were into unorganised military when there was issues with srilankan tamils
