I don't know how in the world this happened. Then I remembered about the ex CM.
Yah I was talking about how Us, Andhra ppl love cinema and was really proud of it cause of the love we have towards cinema and encouraging good movies but then he said really crazy fact that took me a lot of time to digest.
He replied we have such huge collections and too many cult followers is because of the fact that we r the least literate state and have huge unemployment which is resulting in us blindly following the stars and doing petty fan wars rather really enjoying the art .
I did argue abt that with him but slowly as I thought about it the more it made sense.
Ppl have a lot of free time so they need smtg to pass time, what better than movies. So they start following stars but in die hard way. They don't have any work to do or think abt so they keep going back to watch movies which increases collections of movies. And this results in burdening the family because that's from where the youth gets their money to spend.
As much I respect Dt. CM garu, him giving free hand in increasing the movie ticket prices is not sitting right with me. I know he has his reasons to do that -(in my opinion)
1. Increases income for the govt.,
2. Motivates industry ppl to look at and invest in Andhra cause that's giving them more money
But in the long run unless the govt. gets more jobs quickly and increases the employed youth in our state, many families are going to suffer a lot.
I am not saying each and every movie goer is like that but many of them are from that space.
And I think the govt need to take a serious note of this. -

PWD digs up the newly tarred road as part of Smart City Road Project at Killipalam just near to the Kumar Cafe
They've pretty much ruined every road out there. The mudukku adjacent to Cosmo hospital, Kalakaumudi in Kumarapuram, and many others mainly due to the gas pipeline works and they've been like that for months, these are residential areas as we speak. Ivanmareyokke ntha ipo cheyya.... -

Seeman calls Prabakaran's brother's son as Thev***ya Paiyyan
lol going for character assassination and ad hominem attacks on Seeman instead of arguing on merit on Periyar issue, Anna university brutality, drug issues, fascist jailing of anyone who speaks for the people against the administration, non-Brahmin caste oppression etc etc let alone all the corruption.
This is very typical of DMK sell out thugs. -
Jamnagar to get world's biggest data centre
Would've been best if a bit down south; Jamnagar is real close to Pakistan.
