It had a quite a long period of downfall....to the extent that even locals don't know it's history and a lot of information about Jalandhar's golden age appears to have been lost (unable to find exact details by casual browsing. Learnt some things about Jalandhar from Huein Tsang's biography).

Aj di date vich, ofc, it's a sports manufacturing hub but because of misplaced political interests it's loosing it's sports manufacturing prowess. Jalandhar had a world class Cricket Stadium and Hockey stadium that have hosted some damp matches but all is being lost to political indifference.

I had a feeling that the movies isn't totally about the war and equally about the post war events when I saw Ae Mere Watan song. I wasn't wrong. I loved this movie. It never drags even for a second. Second half has such intrigue that it felt to me as if Neeraj Pandey was directing it.

But How it is possible, Rajat has more social media followers, if they all voted for Rajat then how could Karan win, Haryana and Gunda population is more than whole North india, and what about Vivian, how can he lose, he was very popular on TV 8 years ago, and let me tell you his followers are only his followers, they don’t follow anyone else and they will not vote for Karan, Zubaan Kesari guys are very loyal to each other. It’s rigged, normal public don’t like to vote and not even tech savvy, it’s only gunda and zubaan kesari people who knew exactly how to vote.
