That's an interesting perspective!

My take on this is that the government may be infusing so much cash for 2 reasons (purely speculation at this point):

1. Most likely it's for disbursement of targeted loan schemes like the mudra loan, surya whatever loan for solar and rural loans. This is very typical before the budget. This money further trickles down to NBFCs also which have fallen a lot, so worth keeping an eye on such banks.

On a side note, I've been excited on a govt scheme called OCEN (google it). It hasn't picked up because the govt just used it as a marketing scheme for the election and has pushed it to the sideline ever since. Hope it picks up now.

2. The govt and RBI have been consistently battling when it comes to interest rates. Srikanta Das was very stringent in his stance on inflation and didn't give in to the govt on decreasing repo rate to increase consumption. So, this might be the government's way to increase M3 money supply and breathe some life into an economy that feels like it's tired.

What real problems is this causing? What real advantage does it give the ancestors on the father's side?
