I think it might be worthwhile for you to explore more tier 1.5 or tier 2 cities, especially since you already have a stable source of passive income.

They have all the amenities and food/culture of big cities without the mean stuff of them (yet). They also usually have easier access to nature-rich locations.

In Western Maharashtra for example you can consider places like Ratnagiri or Karad.
