The problem is the current dem leadership is responding to every executive order on it's own merits. Not as part of a grander plan to ruin the federal government so it can be repopulated by a smaller number of loyalists. But that is the stated overall goal of project2025 (represented by Russ vought), and Curtis yarvin's butterfly revolution (represented by Elon musk). The actual chaos and ruination happening is the goal. If the Dems happen to win on a few fronts it won't matter, because of everything else happening, and arguably the confusion caused by disputes on a front they happen to win will still contribute to the overall confusion. So when the Dems complain about not wanting to use their political capital fighting everything, they sound like they're tone deaf and not aware of the larger issue, which has been explicitly stated and is being implemented by Trump's closest advisors. It feels like the Dem leadership is more interested in pleasing their corporate sponsors and not fighting for the issues that would financially benefit the vast majority of Americans, including much of the maga base.
