To put things into perspective, I bought solana before the whole evergrande episode happened. I believe at the time I bought it was $250, and then I bought a bunch again when it dropped to like $200. I watched that 10k investment drop all the way down to like 1k with the sam bankman fried shit, with each share costing about $8. I think out of the pure gambling spirit I was like fuck it I’ll buy some more and if it goes up a little bit I have a chance of getting my money back. At the time I probably looked like a complete asshole for doing that, now I look like a genius. Truth is 90% or more of us are just gambling.

Learning and successfully applying what I learned. This can be learning about a place, traveling to that place, and then having nothing bad happen while I'm in that place. Or it can be practicing a new skill (electrical repair or how the stock market works) and then using that skill to solve a problem (repairing a broken wire or making money through buying/selling stocks).
