Well North Indians have a superiority complex just because they have a lighter skin compared to us South Indians. You guys try to impose your norms on us and let me tell South Indians are more Hindu than the North Indians I'm a Proud Hindu!! Also when North Indians come to the South they don't respect the local culture, traditions, language they expect everyone to know Hindi for some odd reason. From my observation people from Delhi, UP and the surrounding areas tend to be more arrogant. Some of my friends are Gujaratis who are now settled here (South) they have learned the language and actually respect it. I tried speaking to them in Hindi or English but they speak to me in my language which is awesome!! They are trying their best!! I don't hate my North Brothers or Sisters but if you guys put your colourism, Hindi imposition and superiority complex aside we would appreciate it more!! Jai Hind!!

I think you should at least get 5 years of experience before going back to your hometown. Make sure that you actually learn and develop solid skills during this time. Along with your job you should start preparing some plans of how would you set up that business. Talk to people. Visit such business. Think about how you can use technology to make such business more smooth, efficient or have better reach.

Also, when you have your own setup you are expected to be present there entire day at least for first few years till it is on autopilot. Not sure how you would find time to play cricket unless it’s early morning or late night, which you can do here as well.

And it’s alright to be unambitious in life. Just make sure you are not dependent on anyone else for your livelihood. Family, friends, social circle, hobbies and interests bring more joy to life than money for the sake of money.
