In most of the political discussions & reporting, I notice that positives & wins for the government are always exclusively attributed to Modiji, but anything negative is solely blamed on the minister. For e.g. Nirmala Sitharaman on taxation policies. I would always respect a leader a lot more if they took ownership of their shortcomings & mistakes. In an ideal world i would have liked Modiji to accept that demonitzation had noble intentions but they fucked up with the implementation. Or that they did well controlling the initial waves of COVID, but they could have handled the third wave better. etc. etc.
