Parallels does not let you boot into Windows like Bootcamp - I don't know of any way for an Apple Silicon Mac to do that. Parallels and VMWare Fusion create a virtual PC that you can run Windows inside of; your Windows apps will run in their own windows alongside your Mac apps. Or you can use Crossover to run your Windows apps without Windows.

Parallels & VMWare Fusion are more expensive since they require a Windows license but offer better compatibility since you're actually running Windows. Crossover is less expensive but since it's only simulating Windows you tend to have more compatibility issues.
