What's important is that you started and have a job in this economy.

But you should focus on upskilling yourself fast so you can switch and earn more because whoever is saying in the comments that 30k is enough just because you're 24 - it's really not.

The right way to go about it though, is not by comparing to your friends but by learning from them and studying the market. See what the market is demanding, what you're lacking and give a few months to upskill yourself rigorously and then start looking for new opportunities.

Stop pitying yourself man. You can very well reach out to some of your friends and make plans (maybe invite them over or go out). Find a hobby (gym, swimming, sports, etc.).

I rarely go out on weekends too due to financial reasons. I hit the gym in the evening with a longer session because I have time in hand during weekends, come back feeling good about myself, then have a few drinks with a couple of friends at home (or even alone when no one is available with some netflix).

It's up to you. Take some initiatives for yourself and others. It's always worth it.
