Hobbies are spread across activities that cover physical/spiritual/psychological verticals. See what you want to do. It should peak your interest and not be taxing.

Mind: Reading, Calligraphy, Photography, Journaling.

Soul: Cooking, Meditation, Drawing, Knitting.

Body: Cycling, Swimming, Dancing, Hiking.

Mentality of us humans

I don't trade stock market. But I do have plans and some ideas. I will definitely get into it at some point. Not getting the time right now. I do however trade/invest crypto for a living. Currently, I'm only putting part of my profits into index funds. I'll give you a few general anecdotes though.

- The stat goes around like 95% people don't make money in trading. And further 2-3% people only breakeven. So, you're looking at only 2-3% people making money overall. So statistically, only 1 or 2 out of 50 people you talk about markets with are making money. So, it really becomes a lone wolf game. You are on your own if you want to be profitable. Which means all those WhatsApp, discord and telegram groups are useless. You don't want to be part of the crowd because your judgement will be molded by their behavior, whether you like it or not and as we know, most of them don't make money.

- Reading is important. Don't read self help books. Read books mainly written in the past century. Wyckoff, Livermore, Market Wizards series, etc. are good places to start. Then you'll find good books further on by yourself. Buffet spends half of his day reading. So who are we to not dedicate some time to reading? Though from what I've seen from his interviews, he likes to read annual reports and all such stuff a lot. Which is another thing, you love to do research and read all the stuff which people in general find boring.

Movies are made for profit......The recent Chhava earned 50 crores in Maharashtra alone in less than a week.....While the highest a movie ever grossed in Assam is around 15 crore......So economy matters
