HERE'S WHAT I THINK WE SHOULD DO : we should implement the NEP with Malayalam/Telugu/kannada as third language the reason is two fold.

Reason 1: since these languages have their roots to Tamil it's easier for us to learn them and use them.

Reason 2( this is absolutely my POV and many will definitely disagree) : I'm absolutely sure There's gonna be a "civil war" not now but may be in 50-60 years demanding to separate from the center. And learning their language may help the cause and unite the southern states.
