Guys abroad call it a small cc and learn on 300-400cc. You good..only don't accelerate too hard..especially in traffic..this is a big bike for Indian traffic, but still doable. Dont open the throttle wide before 1-1½ years no matter how hard you feel like it..just take my word on it.And do traffics on it as much as you can..bumper to bumper..sharp turns..small lanes..people honk a lot and it builds tension for a new rider..just dont let it get to you. You a new rider know that and if a person comes angrily at you yelling why you not moving, tell them you a newbie..most people will understand that..You'll be good. Cheers.

Motorcycles are tools at the end of the day, you take care of them, they take care of you. Some people form emotional connections with them, and to each their own but I don't understand it.

You'll have to sell or scrap it someday anyway. It's better to sell it to someone who'll ride the hell out of it, ride it like it's meant to be.

Meanwhile you should get something you enjoy riding. That's how it is.

I did. Dint waned to but had no space. Learnt riding on it. Bought it even before I knew to ride. It was maa's gift. Bought my current bike 8.5 years ago. Not upgrading mainly cos I still don't have space to park 2 bikes. Once I accomplish it I'll make my current bike a showpiece & I only wanna upgrade to a twin for now so waiting for Tuareg.
