Hot take : This movie was a confused mishmash of Mahabharata and The Godfather. The screenplay should've adapted only the epic and focused on telling the story from the POV of a single character.
What I loved about this movie is that it didn't try to whitewash any character like in the Mahabharata. Here Krishna, Yudhisthir, and Arjuna were equally vile and treacherous like humans in real life! Other than that, I would say it was loosely based on Mahabharata and The Godfather, the premise, character, and settings were very local, rooted to Uttar Pradesh! -
