Skip auto in cbe. Use red taxi. U may pay close to auto ( mostly lesser ) but u can avoid autowalas drama. I live in Bangalore and my hometown is Cbe. Here in Bangalore ola and uber just get what it shows in app. I pay 50-70rs for 1-2 kms ride here(only when booked via apps) else they do the same drama like in coimbatore in Bangalore as well. In Cbe as far as I remember they call n say they need extra 30-40rs before accepting the ride, which is not acceptable according to me. Skip those idiots and take red taxi or some other equivalent mode of transport/apps. Am not promoting red taxi here. But they charge very nominal and are in cbe for long time and very safe too. I usually pre book when I come in train or bus before an hour or so. Just to avoid autowalas drama in morning

I may sound rude towards auto guys here but every job needs to be done in some ethical way possible to make money out of it and I strongly believe auto guys in cbe are horrible based on my multiple experiences.
