Girl!! I feel that!! I made a post about Jagriti leap and how I didn’t even want the leap. They could have ended the story by revealing Kalikant’s truth but nope, there is a whole gen leap and VJ is playing the same fucking toxic rich man role that he always plays. He has like no range. Maybe it’s because he gets typecasted but I am so tired of seeing him on the screen. And why are they trying to pair up him (who is def playing Suraj) with Jaggu?? That makes no sense either. There was no reason for love triangle in this show. I feel like ITV can’t exist without making two siblings fight for one person.

Someone who has been through opt to h1-b and even eb2 perm process. Everyone’s experience in the US is unique. If you are in OPT, one thing you have to understand it’s a EAD, no minimum wage etc

Having said that, there are companies who are looking to intern or some kind of jobs. I know the market for people on visa is rough. Every f-1 student faces this hurdle. I for one did and it’s like for each his own.

If you need support go to meetups. For living expense, you can freelance, like on your EAD you can be your own employer and apply your skill. If in STEM extension get a cofounder who can attest your practical training and that’s legal.

Check idealist.org, volunteer match, write direct emails inquiring for any open positions. Again for each his own, success is a probability, maximize it by just sheer brute force.

I know it’s easy for me to say this, I am not in your shoes but believe me, finish your course. Once you’re done with BTech, you can think ahead like either getting a job or studying more. The world will open up for you as time passes. Please do not leave this half way and run.
As for your financial condition, try to look for part time jobs even if it is beneath you. No work is ever beneath you. I am dead sure you’ll find work at a grocery store, clothing store etc if you go looking. Just the other day I saw so many kids at H & M, smart and educated and I am sure, making decent wages weekly.
Don’t be defeated by your situation. After you go through hardships you will realise that they were there to make you a stronger, better human being.
For your mental health, please pray with focus and intent. Always helps.

Struggling with this so hard rn, everyone minds their own business and doesn’t say much unless necessary. On top of that my parents have created such a gloomy atmosphere that nobody wants to be around them.

When I was younger I couldn’t imagine moving away because I’d miss my family but now I don’t really care that much tbh not like anyone really speaks to each other. I guess that’s just how it is when everyone’s older. A part of me does wanna have a family so I can be happy and cheerful & have fun dinners together and just it be lively.
I think maybe if my siblings have children, the vibes will change but for now it’s just meh. This hole I have been filling with going out more, and seeing my friends a lot more so it’s not all doom and gloom.
