You were not wrong. You did a good thing by not giving money. If you pay them, a part of it goes to conductor and bus driver. They intentionally allow transgenders to get on board and 'extort' money from passengers. Always remember below points:

1.) Never give them money. Always decline politely.

2.) If they say something that infuriate you, do not lose composure, they might attack or do something that might embarrass you keeping you recalling the incident for years. Always stay calm while replying them.

3.) Whenever you see some transgender asking for money from passengers in a bus/train be prepared in advance. Tell your mind that no matter what they say to you, you will stay calm. This helped me a lot.

Do you really have to disclose now? I’m about 70% of my way through a project. I’d say I have a very similar background, technical enough to know what things are and to work with teams to build them but not enough to do it myself.

As another commenter here suggested, Claude 3.5 has been incredible and done a great job in building but it takes a lot of prompting and reprompting, and setting things up properly on your end.
