Telugu movies' rise

Telugu movies are truly going through a golden phase. Everyone is talking about them. It's such a big thing now. I'm currently living in Mumbai & hearing "kurchini madatapetti" in some function near my home and my n North indian flatmates discussing Daaku Maharaj at home. Feels really satisfying seeing the growth. From being mocked about Rajnikant's over the top action from people who had mistaken other South films for Telugu ones to momentarily being surrounded by Telugu stuff all round feels good.

Why do Vijayawada traffic police hate signal lights?

Everywhere in the city the traffic lights are disabled or the police person operates them manually. And more unique is traffic police guys shouting with mic and speaker to control the traffic... like whattt... in 2025? Automate the traffic signals, put cameras and call it a day, why stand with a mic and keep shouting?
