Now, if he still continues to ignores your problems and asks/expects you to make adjustments, then for sure its NEVER getting better.

It's a thought process which need decades of education to change. Traditionally to varius famines in India, our genes got used to storing the fat in the wrong places. People got used to it. There is a lot of research out there now for that. But eating a lot and still being slim is all to with metabolism as you said. Smart people will understand what that means.

Don't bother and keep an active life style. Do fitness, yoga and be in good shape.
