Why does everyone hate india but no one works for a change?
Politicians and corporate leaders like Adani and Narayanmurthy want the country to remain broken. An efficiently functioning country is more difficult to be corrupt in. It's extremely difficult to fight them considering the resources they have. -

There are people who are doing good, you just have to shift your focus towards them. And, that's one of the issues btw-- people who are actually making a positive difference do not receive as much attention as they should. Funnier part is, people become skeptical of their intentions, and mostly think that they must be doing the good for "views" or "some ulterior motive". Many of them don't receive the support they require to function practically within a society. Then, there are people who are doing a great job already at individual level but they get called out as "XYZ-conscious" or "XYZ-freak", or worse- get murdered. Our brain is designed that way to seek the threat so it can protect itself and prevent damage. That's why, it requires a healthy amount of intelligence and conscious efforts to acknowledge the positive and shift the perspective for good. I don't think as a society we have that collective IQ to make it work, and that can only be solved if we start investing more money and efforts towards the younger generation. Because, as cliché as it sounds, children are the future of any society, so educate them better, feed them better, and protect them better, then may be after several years we can have long term positive growth. -
