There are people who buy plots of land, and built homes and sell them ranging from Rs 75 lakhs to Rs 1 crore.

I can't comment on the quality of such homes. Land area would be around 4-5 cent, bit interior with maximum one car parking(they will always say 2 or 3).

Decent old quality homes will come somewhere around 3-4 crores and they are mostly through brokers. You'll barely find them in online portals.

Buying a land of your choice and then constructing your home can take too much time and money. Dealing with contractors is a whole different ball game(which is why people are happy moving into apartments to avoid this headache).

Ready to move in Independent home(3bhk) with small plot of land is doable for Rs 1 crore.
