Once, a friend and  I were having tea and snacks  in a bakery, there was a little child of like 10 years max playing around with a guy (25+) who seems to be working there. Midway the girl slapped him in the arm and in turn the guy procceed to return that playful slap in that kid's bottom. I couldn't help reacting but I was doubtful , maybe it's my mistake, maybe he really was playing, and I was concerned for my friend who always goes there and lives nearby. So we   proceeded to talk to the shop owner. We just gave a small warning, I told him that we saw something like this and please be careful. 
The next time we went to the shop, this dude wasn't there. The kid 's mom talked  to the kid and heard some unpleasant things and they saw something in a cam as well. So they send him away. 
So it's always good to warn the owners. Maybe they are the problem, in that case leave a Google review.
