you mean the URL in regards to the name of the business/site? or the long tail URL of the page?

if they mean having the keywords in the main URL you purchase for the domain then I would agree. if you have a website venusflytrap . com it does not necessarily help you rank for the term 'venus fly trap' Google differentiates between brand or company names and keywords. yet it certainly doesn't hurt and gives the user a good idea of what the site it about.

but if your site is mysite . com and you have a page mysite . com/page/venus-fly-trap it would help as google knows this is a page dedicated to that subject and venus fly trap if a keyword in that regard.
