Thank you & Appreciation post - Leaving TN after 24 years

Hi folks - 24M here, born & brought up in Salem. Grandpa was one of the major commanding officers of the Madras Regiment & hence spent a lot of time in Ooty & Chennai. He was originally from Dalhousie, Himachal. I grew up in Salem since my dad had settled then. He's finally retiring today & has decided to move back to Dalhousie, take care of the ancient house & retire to a beautiful scenery. I had the best time of my life here - friends, well wishers & what not. Anyway the post is exactly what it is - a wholesome thank you note to all my fellow Tamilians. Will miss everything about TN. Too emotional to think of & say anything. 3 generations of my family can speak, read & write fluent Tamil & that's something I intend to pass on to my children if I ever have them.
