Ngi Dubai ( for people primarily from uae )

Has anyone invested in the equity investment plan offered by NGI Dubai (National General Insurance)? They apparently offer mild risk with a 25% annual return spread across 100+ companies. Has anyone had experience with their investment options? I wanna know if this might be a case of scam

What are your thoughts on DSP Top 10 equal weight Index fund and SBI Quant Fund?

Just wanted to get views on these two funds that I've been trying to evaluate and invest soon. DSP top 10 equal weight is quite simple. Largest top 10 companies of india in equal proportions. What should be my return expectations from this, given that this is mega cap fund, but at the same time, largecaps haven't moved much in the past rally and hence they have the most potential to run up? Imagine if I create a website where you can enter any stock of your choice, and it will analyze whether it has the potential to double in value or not. However, access to this service would be available only through a subscription model. Would you consider paying for this service? No impact of elections on market

Don't see any effect of delhi election on the market. Delhi is an UT where ruling government hardly has any power, the main power is with the LG. The trump tarriff news will mostly dominate, however if we hold 23300 even with the worst news flows we will party hard, otherwise 20 Ma calling at 22500

Hey everyone, I’m an intraday trader from past 3.5 yrs and I do trade in FNO. I came from engineering background and worked as a business manager at a well grown startup Past few months my trading gone very well (returns on average month - 10% , good month- 25 -30%. Due to my college fee and emi’s i withdrawn from my account. Now when I am telling people that I will trade in your account and can generate good returns, they start commenting and tagging me as scammer....

Regarding Goldbees/Gold ETF

Since they are not available in tranches like SGB, if i start accumulating then wont the buy average go up over the years unlike actual gold bar/biscuit or SGB ? (taking it for granted that gold value continue to rise) or am I missing something?

Starting Long-Term Investing with ETFs – Need Advice!

I'm planning to start investing with a long-term horizon (minimum 10 years) and will be following the DCA strategy. After some research, I’ve filtered out these 3 ETFs for my portfolio: Nippon India ETF Nifty 50 BeEs – 40% Motilal Nasdaq-100 ETF – 40% Nippon Midcap 150 ETF – 20% I’ve decided to use ETFs instead of mutual funds because they have lower fees, and I prefer index investing. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Where can we get historical pre open data of NSE?

Earlier there were some websites where I could download historical pre open data. Seems like those aren't working anymore. If any API purchase is available I am happy to do it to get this data. This gets updated daily https://www.nseindia.com/market-data/pre-open-market-cm-and-emerge-market

Lesson to why one needs to do their homework

I was reading news on some stock tipper/ finfluencer and how she conned people with around 100 cr..I feel investors partly need to be blamed for this..how can they be so naive and trust someone blindly...that lady is not sebi registered....what's her credentials so people trusted her? every one who puts money in markets should know what they are getting into...there are 100's more out there who can con people...please do your homework, learn basics like income statement, balance sheet, cashflow...it's not rocket science....stay away from day trading, options,...

USDINR at 88.

Nifty as per today's closing price has given 0% real return in 2024. Similar trend across smallcap and midcap yearly real returns almost touching 0%. Even after a sharp decline in INRUSR, most BIG Indian Tech has been sideways hinting at a downward pressure among the Service/Support IT firms which are some of the biggest Dollar importers, further softness in this sector could lead to a downward spiral in INR USD. Position (might be a bit early but either way things doesn't look good at least for the short/mid-term)-...
